Listening To
Thoughts on Christy Nockels' 'Let It Be Jesus'
Jun 15, 2015
I remember the first time I heard Christy Nockel’s voice. I remember how much passion and soul it had, and that is what drew me to the singer. Her voice and passion remains her signature whether she is performing live at any one of the Passion events or on her album (like the recent effort “Let It be Jesus”).
The album is titled after the acclaimed single “Let It Be Jesus,” the album cover also tells a story. A story of ultimate surrender. A story that more or less says “let it be Jesus.” I reviewed the album for the incredible Church tech site ChurchMag.
